Ingredients
- Chicken Burgers
1 pound ground chicken
1 egg
1/2 cup garlic & herb breadcrumbs
1/4 cup sundried tomatoes, drained & chopped
1/2 cup feta cheese crumbles
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
- Garlic Aioli (optional)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
4 cloves minced garlic
half of a lemon, juiced and strained
2 teaspoons olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
Directions
- Garlic Aioli
- I recommend pairing the chicken burgers with a homemade garlic aioli. Prepare the aioli by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Chicken Burgers
- Use your hands to combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Form into 4 evenly sized patties.
- Preheat either the grill or a large pan on the stove to medium-high heat. To grill: brush the patties with olive oil so they don’t stick to the grill. Cook on each side for about 5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F. Stove: coat the bottom of the pan in a light layer of oil. Cook on each side for about 5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F.
- If desired, serve on a bun with the garlic aioli, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The burgers are great on salads as well!
