Ingredients

  • Chicken Burgers
  • 1 pound 1 ground chicken

  • 1 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 garlic & herb breadcrumbs

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 sundried tomatoes, drained & chopped

  • 1/2 cup 1/2 feta cheese crumbles

  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 pepper

  • 2 cloves 2 minced garlic

  • 1 tablespoon 1 fresh oregano, chopped

  • Garlic Aioli (optional)
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 mayonnaise

  • 4 cloves 4 minced garlic

  • half of a lemon, juiced and strained

  • 2 teaspoons 2 olive oil

  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  • Garlic Aioli
  • I recommend pairing the chicken burgers with a homemade garlic aioli. Prepare the aioli by combining all the ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  • Chicken Burgers
  • Use your hands to combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Form into 4 evenly sized patties.
  • Preheat either the grill or a large pan on the stove to medium-high heat. To grill: brush the patties with olive oil so they don’t stick to the grill. Cook on each side for about 5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F. Stove: coat the bottom of the pan in a light layer of oil. Cook on each side for about 5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165F.
  • If desired, serve on a bun with the garlic aioli, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The burgers are great on salads as well!

Buttermilk Cheddar Chive Biscuits

My savory buttermilk cheddar chive biscuits combine the rich flavor of cheddar cheese with the subtle onion-like taste of fresh chives. They have a tender and flaky texture with a golden brown crust and a soft, airy interior. Notes
